Djibouti | 10 May 2026 {HMC} The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, attended the inauguration ceremony of the re-elected President of the Republic of Djibouti, H.E. Ismail Omar Guelleh, held in Djibouti City.
The President was accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Abdisalam Ali.
The Somali delegation conveyed congratulations and best wishes to President Ismaïl Omar Guelleh and the people of Djibouti, reaffirming the strong brotherly relations and strategic partnership between the two countries, as well as Somalia’s commitment to strengthening regional cooperation, peace, and stability in the Horn of Africa.
