Nairobi, 11 May 2026 {HMC} The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Abdisalam Ali, today participated the Ministerial meeting on United Nations Security Council Reform and the use of Veto during the Africa Forward Summit in Nairobi, Kenya.
The Minister was joined by Somalia’s Ambassador to Kenya, H.E. Jibril Ibrahim Abdulle, among other senior diplomats. Somalia reiterated its support for reforms within the United Nations Security Council that reflect equitable geographic representation and strengthen the voice of developing countries, particularly those in Africa.
